Om te kunnen “landen” in onszelf is het belangrijk om diep in het bekken te ontspannen. Anatomisch betekent dat het loslaten van spanning in rugspieren, het middenrif, de achterzijde van de bekkenbodem en de Iliopsoas. In deze lesdag leer je effectieve en veilige oefeningen voor versterking van de kern, en ontspanning van het bekken, en leer je dit toe te passen in asana’s (m.n. achterover buigers).
Samen met ademoefeningen en diepe ontspanning van de Iliopsoas krijg je een set aan handvatten die je direct kan inzetten in yogalessen. In de ochtend werken we met een dynamische, zachte flow waarin we de ontspanning in het bekken zoeken en tegelijk onze diepe, dragende kracht opbouwen. In de hand-out krijg je uitleg over diepe stabiliteit van het bekken en hoe je hier contact mee kunt maken.
In het eerste deel van de middag werken we met asana, waarin zowel ontspanning als versterking samenkomen.
In het tweede middagdeel sluiten we af met diepe ontspanning van de Iliopsoas, waardoor je op een heel diep niveau kan landen in jezelf.
Maartje is yogadocent sinds 1995. Opgeleid in Okido Yoga, esoterisch Boeddhisme, oefentherapie Cesar, psychosomatische oefentherapie, acupressuur, Phyllis Krystal methodiek, cranio-sacraal. Ze leidt sinds 2007 de 4-jarige yoga-opleiding Amitabha in Deventer. Daarnaasi is ze schrijfster van drie boeken: ‘Yoga en Aplomb’, ‘Mindfulness en mantra’ en ‘Meridiaanyoga voor het leven’.
